Heh Heh... Genius.

Ok, so I am doing a little multi-tasking right now. I am searching for a place to stay on our next vacation and watching "Blow Out" on Bravo. Jonathan Antin is the biggest jerk-face poop head I've ever watched. It's like a train wreck and I can't seem to change the channel. Genius.

He's the blurry one behind me...

Yesterday Jeremy and I went to see David Sedaris at the Paramount Theater. I even got my picture taken with him!

When Wine Bottles Attack...

Sunday was a glorious day, it started out with breakfast with the "Ladies" at Geraldines in Columbia City and as the day grew warmer and more fabulous, The Husband and I decided to go North to Wine Country (aka Woodinville) and see what it had to offer. The results, are... shocking...

Second Funniest Thing I've Heard All Year....

Quote from and article regarding the birth of Katie Holmes' baby: "Perhaps the epidural helped Katie keep her cakehole closed as she pushed out little Suri, since she reportedly adhered to the L. Ron Hubbard-approved method of silent birth."

Heh heh heh heh. Cakehole.

Funniest Thing I've Heard All Year...

"If I wasn't knocked up right now, I'd go home and get wasted tonight."

AHAHAHAHAHAH.

That's funny.

The Dangers of Denim

Ok, can we talk? Really- I have some serious stuff to discuss.

WHO THE HELL DECIDED THAT THE "SKINNY JEAN" WAS IN FOR 2006?

I mean come ON people! Are we so desperate for inspiration that we are harkoning (sp?) back to times of yore- when jelly bracelets, big bangs and off the shoulder sweatshirts were hip? And not just HIP, but totally awesome? I beg of you, please please please get these horrendous crimes of fashion off the store shelves! I admit, I am not a licensed fashionista, but I at least have the sense to know that TAPERED jeans DO NOT work. AND FURTHER MORE, they DO NOT work tucked into boots.

I rest my case.

Carry on.

Easter Time!

Yes this past weekend was Easter and it was a great time. I was babysitting a friend's dog (Dos) and met up with all the fam for some food and craziness. Unfortunately, I only got to partake in half the food (ok, only the eggs and sausage) but was asked to make scones for brunch. What torture! I'm doing well on my diet, only one more week to go of this vegetable and protein craziness. I have found a new love in Sugar Free Lifesavers though!

Here are pictures from the weekend!

Last Hurrah

Well folks, finally this weekend was our snowboarding last "hurrah". My first run was pretty scary, it felt like I was snowboarding on gravel for the first part of the run, then halfway down, it turned to Snoopy Snowcone Slush and was ok. We stuck it out though, getting in at least 6 runs before calling it quits and packing up Lulu. I even had my first "yard sale" and am still suffering from a pretty good case of whiplash. I won't be head-banging to any heavy metal anytime soon. Jeremy said it looked pretty painful, as he caught the last part of me hitting the snow and my goggles and hat flying in every direction. I wish I could have seen myself fall, I probably would have laughed my ass off.

It was a good season- I got to go up 7 times and finally am pretty comfortable on my snowboard. I would call that a pretty good accomplishment for 2 months' worth of work. Jeremy's even getting pretty good- he beat me down the hill a couple of times, something I'll just chalk up to gravity... Next time Calkins- next time.

Bored Bored Bored

Waiting for some brownies to come out of the oven. Sadly enough, they are not for me but for my poor brother who got into a horrible car accident on Sunday night. His car was totaled by some idiot 16 year old who decided good driving was jumping the median and hitting a car heading in the opposite direction and pinning it against the wall. ARG. Stupid drivers make me angry. So the brownies are for him, I'm sending him a care package with brownies and maybe a few pin-ups of Miss Kitty. That would cheer anyone up.

I've got an IQ of 124...

I guess I do. I just spent 15 minutes taking an IQ test. It says that I am an "Inspired Inventor". Hmm, I don't know about that. I do think I am often inspired, but not quite the inventor. Unless you count finding new ways to eat Cadbury Mini Eggs inventing. If I was so smart, I could figure out why I suddenly have a zit farm on my chin and why they keep popping up! ARG!

Last weekend Jeremy and I went up to Crystal Mountain to go snowboarding and man oh man was it fun. So much better than the little ant hill that I've been practicing on at Snoqualmie. Snoqualmie was great to get my confidence up, but Crystal Mountain was a great place to put my skillz and confidence to the test. Jeremy and I had a blast, but were totally pooped at the end of the day. I was even sore the next day. I wish I had a little camera I could bring with me while I was on the mountain, but unfortuanately our camera is a couple of years old and thus is huge by today's standards. Maybe for my birthday this year, I'll ask the Birthday Fairie for a teeny tiny digital camera.
